XTN-6AC8390 ENGINEER ASSISTANT - TECHNICAL TEST REPORT WRITING SEMI-CONDUCTOR

Functional overview

White Horse Laboratories, a Western-owned and operated independent, third-party electronics test laboratory based in China is looking for an Engineer Assitant to join their growing Team in Manila. this individual will write test reports, prepare engineering documentation such as work instructions, training plans, and visual aids, maintain documentation control, quote equipment, and other administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Job Purpose:

This individual will write test reports and assist Engineering to prepare documentation such as procedures, work instructions, training plans, and visual aids, and other administrative responsibilities as assigned.

Duties and responsibilities

• Write test and inspection reports with lab data.
• Update and maintain WHL Open Order Status report.
• Search internet and locate manufacturer data sheets, marking codes, production locations, and history.
• Prepare work instructions from Engineer test plan.
• Maintain ESD (electrostatic discharge) records for lab area.
• Prepare training guides from engineering instruction.
• Prepare work instructions from engineering instructions.
• Source and quote electronic test and related equipment.
• Maintain calibration records for test equipment.
• Prepare visual aids for testing and inspection procedures.

Minimum qualifications

• A minimum of technical degree in microelectronics.
• 2 years of relevant experience in a Semi-Conductor industry
• Solid Test Reporting and Technical Writing experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Running errands and attending off-site training will be required.
