Okta is looking for two highly motivated team members to take a lead role in driving our SOX compliance and effectiveness. This role will be working cross-functionally with the Sales Org, Sales Ops, Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Payroll, Legal, Equity, IT, and HR teams and will be responsible for performing completeness and accuracy testing over key reports used in the performance of SOX controls. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter who brings with them 3+ years of public accounting experience.

The main responsibilities of an AUDIT SUPPORT ANALYST include:

• Fully understand, prepare, inspect, analyze, and document procedures performed to evidence completeness and accuracy of the Information Produced by the Entity (IPE) and/or Information Used in the Performance of the Control (IUC) procedures.
• Distribute and track completeness of key report completeness and accuracy testing to ensure compliance with SOX control timelines.
• Drive process and systems improvements related to completeness and accuracy procedures.
• Provide cross-functional support and act as the point of contact regarding IPE/IUC-related inquiries and requests
• Maintain, document, and adhere to internal controls to ensure Sox and policy compliance.
• Ad Hoc projects and requests, as needed.

To apply for the role, you must have the following:

• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• Understanding of Information Produced by the Entity (IPE) and/or Information Used in the Performance of the Control (IUC)
• BS/BA in accounting, finance, economics, or other quantitative fields preferred
• Thinks and works precisely
• Strong skills with new technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic setting while maintaining accuracy and delivering against deadlines
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a role that supports multiple business partners
