About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the reliability of SAP reporting infrastructure, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Develop and automate monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows using Python and Bash scripts.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and implement capacity planning.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of SRE practices, including chaos engineering experiments and post‑incident reviews.
- Document processes, runbooks, and best practices for the reporting platform.
Requirements
- Current university student in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
- Familiarity with SAP reporting tools and concepts.
- Experience with monitoring/alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude toward reliability.
