About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior security engineers in planning and executing penetration tests against web, mobile, and network applications.
- Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using Python and common security tools.
- Analyze findings, document vulnerabilities, and provide clear remediation recommendations.
- Support the creation of security test reports and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.
- Participate in threat modeling sessions and stay updated on emerging attack techniques.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Information Security, or related degree program.
- Hands‑on experience with Linux command line, networking concepts, and security tools (e.g., Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit).
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and data analysis.
- Basic understanding of common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, CWE) and penetration testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical mindset, good communication skills, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
