Data Engineer
Seeking a Working Student Data Engineer to join IBM's Client Innovation Center in Frankfurt. This role involves developing and implementing data pipelines, working with large datasets, and utilizing cloud technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures, including databases and large-scale processing systems.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT processes to ingest and transform data from various sources.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and provide solutions.
- Optimize data retrieval and processing for performance and scalability.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of data governance and quality frameworks.
- Assist in the deployment and management of data solutions on cloud platforms.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL tools.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
