Software Engineer
Join a robotics R&D team as a working student, supporting application engineering and testing of intelligent robotic systems using Python, C++, ROS, and simulation tools while contributing to CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and extending software frameworks for orchestrating complex robotic systems.
- Implement and test robot skill modules, parameterization tools, and semantic data models.
- Run simulations and hardware‑in‑the‑loop tests to validate autonomous task execution.
- Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines, including automated testing and code quality checks.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve development workflows.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Computer Science, Robotics, or related engineering program (Bachelor or Master).
- Proficiency in Python and C++ programming.
- Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) and robot simulation environments (e.g., Gazebo, RViz).
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and version control (Git).
- Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, and good communication in English.
