Lead the design and technical direction of large‑scale Workday implementations, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security policies, and long‑term operational goals while collaborating with integrators and internal IT teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the overall Workday solution architecture, ensuring compliance with city and enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with the System Integrator and internal IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Establish integration patterns between Workday and existing on‑premise or cloud systems, leveraging APIs, middleware, and data transformation tools.
- Develop security and data privacy frameworks that meet regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise Workday solutions, preferably in the public sector.
- Strong understanding of cloud integration technologies (e.g., Workday Studio, SOAP/REST APIs, middleware platforms).
- Proven expertise in security architecture, data governance, and compliance within ERP environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of leading cross‑functional teams.
- Relevant certifications such as Workday HCM/Financials or Solution Architect credentials.
