Virtual Element Studios is a B2B engineering visualization studio serving industrial and manufacturing clients across India, UAE, and the USA. We're expanding into website design & development services for our existing base of engineering and manufacturing clients — companies with multiple product ranges, industry verticals, and a need for a professional, easily-manageable web presence.
Role Overview
We're looking for a WordPress Developer who can convert Figma designs into pixel-accurate, fast, and easily editable corporate websites — primarily for industrial/manufacturing clients with multi-product, multi-division site structures (think: product catalogs, industry-specific pages, careers sections, downloadable reports/PDFs).This is not a page-builder-only role. We need someone who understands site architecture , not just visual assembly.
Responsibilities
- Convert Figma/design mockups into fully responsive WordPress websites, matching design specs precisely (spacing, typography, color, interaction states)
- Build structured, scalable content using Custom Post Types and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) — e.g., product ranges, industries served, job openings, downloadable financial/technical documents — so clients can self-manage content without developer help
- Configure and customize Elementor (or similar builder) for layouts, mega-menus, animations, and banners
- Set up enquiry/contact forms with file upload capability (WPForms/Gravity Forms), integrated with email notifications
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and site performance (Core Web Vitals, image optimization, caching)
- Implement on-page SEO fundamentals (schema markup, meta structure, clean URLs)
- Handle basic PHP customizations (functions.php, custom Elementor widgets) where plugins fall short
- Manage hosting, staging environments, backups, and basic WordPress security hardening
- Collaborate directly with our design and business development teams to scope, estimate, and deliver client projects on schedule
Required Skills
- 2–5 years of hands-on WordPress development experience
- Strong command of Elementor (or Bricks/Divi) and ACF / Custom Post Types
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience building multi-page, content-heavy corporate/B2B websites (not just single-page templates or blogs)
- Ability to translate Figma designs accurately, including responsive breakpoints
- Familiarity with form plugins, SEO plugins (Yoast/Rank Math), and basic performance optimization
- Understanding of WordPress security best practices
Good to Have
- Portfolio including multi-industry/multi-product corporate websites (manufacturing, engineering, or B2B sectors preferred)
- Experience with WooCommerce
