QA Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end quality assurance for web and mobile applications, designing test plans, automating regression suites with Selenium and TestNG, and collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver defect‑free releases.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and TestNG for web and mobile platforms.
- Execute comprehensive manual test cases, identify defects, and track them in JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile ceremonies to define acceptance criteria and improve product quality.
- Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage.
Requirements
- 3+ years of QA experience in software development environments.
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Java or JavaScript for test automation.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques, defect lifecycle, and test management tools like JIRA.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
