QA Engineer
Design and execute verification of 4G/5G PHY and protocol stacks for low‑Earth‑orbit satellite IoT platforms, using Python, MATLAB and RF test equipment on Linux environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and run test plans for 4G LTE and 5G NR PHY and higher‑layer protocols on LEO satellite payloads.
- Configure, calibrate, and operate RF test equipment (vector signal generators, spectrum analyzers, channel emulators) to validate link performance under space‑specific conditions.
- Automate test sequences and data analysis using Python and MATLAB scripts, integrating results into continuous integration pipelines.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system teams to troubleshoot failures, root‑cause issues, and drive design improvements.
- Document test procedures, results, and compliance reports, ensuring traceability to system requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field with 3+ years of wireless test experience.
- Strong knowledge of 4G LTE and 5G NR PHY specifications, modulation schemes, and protocol stacks.
- Hands‑on experience with RF test instrumentation and signal‑chain validation.
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB for test automation and data analysis; comfortable working in Linux environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, innovative engineering team.
