Wireless Systems Engineer - Apple
Systems Engineer
Design, integrate, and validate cutting‑edge cellular modem solutions, handling bring‑up, optimization, and verification in both pre‑silicon and post‑silicon environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate state‑of‑the‑art cellular modem hardware and firmware for high‑performance wireless products.
- Perform bring‑up, debugging, and optimization of end‑to‑end modem features in pre‑silicon simulation and post‑silicon silicon validation labs.
- Validate RF performance, protocol compliance, and power consumption across multiple cellular standards (e.g., 4G LTE, 5G NR).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—hardware, software, and test engineering—to resolve issues and improve system robustness.
- Automate test flows and develop scripts/tools in Python and C/C++ to streamline verification and regression testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python for embedded development and test automation.
- Hands‑on experience with cellular modem bring‑up, RF signal processing, and protocol stack debugging.
- Familiarity with Linux‑based embedded environments and hardware bring‑up tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in fast‑paced, cross‑functional teams.
