Windows Server Systems Deployment and Management Engineer

As we continue to grow and expand, we’re looking for experienced Mid/Upper-Level Windows System Engineers to join our team.

These Windows Server Systems Engineer will focus on the overall daily support needs of small and mid-sized businesses. This includes: Windows Server Deployments, Management and Administration. Network Infrastructure Configuration, Setup and Maintenance. M365 Setup, Configuration and Management.

This is an in-office position in our Spokane, Washington location. While occasionally remote options may be provided based on employees needs from time to time, this is an in-office position. This position will remain open until filled.

Technical Responsibilities of a Mid-Level Systems Engineer:

Understanding the logic (the how and why) behind each setup, deployment and on-going service and support is key to each of the concepts below. It’s not just about following standards and defaults; it’s about understanding why each of those steps are in place. At Cycrest, when things break, we don't perform band-aid fixes; we implement a permanent solution that fits within our standards.

- Building Systems from the Ground Up: You’ll be responsible for setting up, deploying, configuring and supporting physical and cloud based servers, cloud applications, and workstation-based environments.

- Managing & Securing the M365 Ecosystem: You’ll configure, deploy, migrate and support Microsoft 365 tenants, handling everything from security hardening to user workflows.

- Reliable Networking & Connectivity: You’ll design, deploy and support the infrastructure that keeps our clients running; Firewalls and Switches: VLANs, VPNs, ZTNA and everything in-between.
