Seeking a Windows Platform Server Engineer to manage and maintain critical infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Windows-based systems, leveraging expertise in Active Directory and PowerShell.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
- Administer and optimize Active Directory services, including group policies and user management.
- Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell for system administration tasks.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the Windows infrastructure through patching and vulnerability management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and infrastructure upgrades.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Windows Server Administrator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
