Seeking a Windows Platform Engineer to manage and maintain Windows server environments. Responsibilities include system administration, scripting, and ensuring platform stability and security.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems and related components.
- Manage and administer Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and DNS.
- Develop and implement PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks and system management.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the Windows platform through regular patching and vulnerability management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Windows Platform Engineer or System Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell.
- Experience with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
