Seeking a Windows Infrastructure Engineer to manage and maintain Windows server environments, Active Directory, and related infrastructure. This role involves ensuring system reliability, security, and performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems and related components.
- Manage and administer Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and domain services.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation using PowerShell to streamline operational tasks.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the Windows infrastructure through regular patching and vulnerability management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Windows Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
