Senior engineer responsible for designing, executing, and automating Wi‑Fi test plans using Python and Linux environments to validate performance, compliance, and interoperability of wireless products.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for Wi‑Fi devices, covering performance, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Design and execute manual and automated test plans, analyze results, and report defects to cross‑functional teams.
- Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid feedback and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Document test procedures, results, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in wireless testing, with deep knowledge of Wi‑Fi standards (802.11ac/ax).
- Proficiency in Python scripting and Linux-based test environments.
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., pytest, Robot Framework) and CI tools.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to debug network protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
