Software Engineer
Senior software engineer focused on enterprise‑grade Wi‑Fi 6 and mesh networking, designing and optimizing firmware for high‑throughput, low‑latency wireless access points using OFDMA, MU‑MIMO, and beamforming.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) access points, implementing advanced features such as OFDMA, MU‑MIMO, and beamforming.
- Optimize wireless throughput, latency, and airtime utilization for large‑scale enterprise networks.
- Develop and support IEEE 802.11s mesh networking capabilities, ensuring robust connectivity and seamless handover.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (hardware, RF, QA) to integrate software with silicon and validate performance.
- Participate in code reviews, performance profiling, and continuous improvement of the software stack.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in embedded or firmware development for wireless networking products.
- Deep knowledge of Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) specifications, OFDMA, MU‑MIMO, beamforming, and 802.11s mesh protocols.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with real‑time operating systems.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to troubleshoot complex wireless performance issues, and excellent communication skills.
