Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain web server software and related components.
- Monitor server performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web server availability, performance, and security.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect web servers from threats.
- Develop and maintain documentation for server configurations and procedures.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of web applications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Web Server Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of web server technologies (e.g., Apache, Nginx).
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems and command-line interface.
- Understanding of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
- Experience with scripting languages for automation (e.g., Bash, Python).
