Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain web server software (e.g., Apache, Nginx).
- Manage DNS records and troubleshoot domain-related issues.
- Monitor server performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
- Perform regular system updates, patching, and security hardening.
- Respond to and resolve hosting-related incidents and requests.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation of routine tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Web Hosting Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with web server technologies and protocols.
- Experience with DNS management and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in shell scripting (e.g., Bash).
