Frontend Developer
Full‑stack Web Developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining web applications using PHP and Laravel, with strong front‑end capabilities and collaboration across IT, stakeholders, and third‑party partners.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy back‑end services and APIs using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Implement responsive front‑end interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring cross‑browser compatibility.
- Maintain and optimise database schemas and queries in MySQL for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with the IT team, business stakeholders, and external vendors to translate requirements into robust web solutions.
- Manage source code, conduct code reviews, and enforce version‑control best practices using Git.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, applying patches and enhancements as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing web applications with PHP and Laravel (3+ years).
- Strong front‑end skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly MySQL.
- Experience with Git or similar version‑control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
