Frontend Developer
Contract web developer to build and maintain full‑stack web applications for a remote fintech company, collaborating with US teams and delivering high‑quality features using JavaScript, React, Node.js, and relational databases.
About Kadince
Kadince (pronounced cadence) is a fully remote American software company founded in 2013. In a nutshell, we build tools to help financial institutions track and manage the good they do in their communities.
Why We’re Looking for Contractors
As our customer base grows, so does our team. We’re dedicated to giving each customer the best experience possible, which means having enough people to take care of all their needs. We’re growing quickly and so are the needs of our customers. That’s why we’re looking for contractors in Brazil to help with our development needs, work on full-stack projects, and interact with our team in the US.
Who We Want to Hire
To be a web development contractor at Kadince you should have at least 1 year of work experience. This experience has given you an understanding of basic database-driven web applications and a proficient knowledge of the MVC pattern.
You’re able to adapt quickly to new environments, are organized and focused, can look beyond current constraints, and can provide solutions to complex problems. Simply put, we need a problem solver, not just someone who completes as many tasks as possible.
Even though you'll be working remotely from Brazil, you’ll be joining projects that may involve interactions with our US-based development team. So a strong level of English communication is important. This will make it possible to participate in occasional meetings to discuss project progress.
Let’s Geek Out
If you’re geeky like our dev team (hopefully you are), you probably want to know more about our tech stack. Outside of our dev team, we’re not really sure what most of this means, but we sure hope you do.

Our Core Values
Our core values remind us who we are. They also guide us in the decisions we make. They’re listed in order of importance. If we have a question when making a decision about people, for example, we look to the core value above it to make our decision.
These core values should resonate with you. Even our contractors are expected to provide work that demonstrates
