Lead patch management and vulnerability remediation across servers, endpoints, and applications, using advanced scanning tools and configuration platforms to protect enterprise assets and ensure compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the patch management lifecycle, including planning, testing, deployment, and validation of patches across servers, endpoints, applications, and appliances.
- Identify missing patches and vulnerabilities using scanning tools and configuration management platforms, and prioritize remediation based on risk.
- Maintain patch baselines and ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT operations and security teams to coordinate patch deployments and monitor effectiveness.
- Document patching processes, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7) and patch management solutions.
- Strong understanding of configuration management and security compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation of patching tasks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
