Lead a 150‑200 person engineering organization, driving end‑to‑end delivery, P&L, and client relationships while setting technical standards and building a high‑performance leadership layer.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end engineering and delivery for a 150–200 person organization across client‑deployed and product‑owned engagements.
- Build and develop a leadership layer of Delivery Managers, Software Development Architects, and Solution Architects.
- Manage P&L across all engagements, including revenue, margin, cost, SOW governance, and contract negotiation.
- Lead senior client relationships and governance forums (QBRs, steering committees) for top accounts.
- Drive engineering quality, technical standards, and engineer career development across the organization.
- Establish the operating rhythm with weekly delivery reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience, with a proven track record in large, distributed teams.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L, budgets, and contract negotiations.
- Excellent client‑facing skills and experience leading governance forums with C‑level stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, delivery methodologies, and quality engineering practices.
- Demonstrated ability to build and mentor high‑performing leadership teams.
