About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable Java/Spring microservices and RESTful APIs for core banking applications.
- Design and implement responsive React/JavaScript front‑end components, ensuring cross‑browser compatibility and optimal performance.
- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, mentoring developers, setting coding standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and security teams to deliver secure, high‑quality releases on time.
- Drive technical debt reduction, performance tuning, and automated testing pipelines.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React).
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment (AWS or Azure).
- Proven track record of building and scaling high‑throughput, mission‑critical applications.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery skills.
