Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance on a wide range of cybersecurity and data privacy issues.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate cybersecurity risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Review and negotiate technology and vendor contracts, focusing on data security and privacy clauses.
- Advise on incident response planning and execution related to data breaches and cybersecurity incidents.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal and regulatory requirements are met in cybersecurity initiatives.
- Stay abreast of evolving cybersecurity threats, legal landscapes, and best practices.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in at least one jurisdiction.
- Significant experience in cybersecurity law, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to provide strategic legal counsel in a complex corporate environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
