Seeking a VP, Assistant General Counsel with expertise in cybersecurity law to join LPL Financial's Legal Privacy team. This role focuses on providing legal guidance and managing risks related to cybersecurity and data privacy.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal counsel on cybersecurity matters, including incident response, data breach notification, and regulatory compliance.
- Advise on privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on cybersecurity practices.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate cybersecurity and data privacy risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
- Review and advise on third-party vendor agreements related to cybersecurity and data protection.
- Stay abreast of evolving cybersecurity threats, legal landscapes, and best practices.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in good standing.
- Significant experience in cybersecurity law, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and incident response protocols.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
