About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy voice AI services on a self‑hosted LiveKit platform.
- Implement and optimize real‑time audio and media pipelines, ensuring low latency and high reliability.
- Integrate speech recognition and natural language processing models to power conversational features.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes or similar cloud‑native tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex audio, network, and media pipeline issues in production environments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define feature requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in voice AI or real‑time audio engineering.
- Proficiency with LiveKit, WebRTC, and related real‑time communication protocols.
- Strong background in speech recognition, audio signal processing, and NLP.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native deployment practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
