Key Responsibilities
- Administration and operation of VMware vSphere environment (ESXi, vCenter)
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of virtual infrastructure
- Management of virtual machines lifecycle (provisioning, maintenance, decommissioning)
- Backup and recovery support (e.g. Veeam or similar tools)
- Patch management and upgrades of VMware components
- Incident and problem resolution (2nd / 3rd level support)
- Documentation of procedures and configurations
- Collaboration with infrastructure, network, and security teams
- Support of projects related to virtualization and datacenter technologies
Nutanix knowledge is not required at the start; onboarding and training will be provided, after training responsibilities will be:
- Implementation, administration, and migration of Nutanix cloud infrastructures (AOS, AHV virtualization, AOS storage, virtual networking, NDK, etc.)
- Implementation and administration of Nutanix Prism
- Scripting with PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, Ansible, or Terraform
- Leading the automation and standardization of operational workflows using appropriate scripts
- Planning, design, and execution of commissioning and operation of complex systems
- Handling and execution of complex tasks and assignments
- Participation in the preparation of decision papers and technical concepts
- Installation and maintenance of tools
- Development and planning of service concepts
- Management and coordination of order processing
- Ensuring agreed service levels
- Creation and maintenance of documentation
- have Master’s or diploma degree with relevant professional experience, or comparable knowledge and skills
- have at least five years of professional experience, including a minimum of three years in IT administration
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter)
- Good understanding of virtualization concepts and datacenter operations
- Storage (SAN / NAS)
- Networking basics (VLANs, routing, firewalls)
- Knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, etc.)
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
Experience with Nutanix is an advantage; training will be provided. Huge plus is strong experience with Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism, LCM and experience with storage containers, protection domains, snapshots, replication, performance analysis, and troubleshooting
- are good with Microsoft Windows and Linux infrastructures, as well as central services (AD, DNS, DHCP, file services, etc.)
