Lead VMware platform design and technical optimisation
Expertise across vSphere, vCenter and enterprise virtualisation
Mentor engineers and drive infrastructure improvements
Install, configure, maintain, and support VMware virtualisation environments.
Administer and support VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and associated infrastructure platforms.
Perform infrastructure upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle management activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex virtualisation and infrastructure issues.
Maintain high availability, performance, and resilience across VMware environments.
Work closely with networking, storage, and security teams to support integrated infrastructure solutions.
Support change management, release activities, and operational maintenance windows.
Contribute to technical documentation, system designs, and operational procedures.
Participate in infrastructure modernisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide technical support and guidance to project and operational teams.
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting enterprise VMware environments.
Strong experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
Experience managing enterprise virtualisation platforms and supporting critical infrastructure.
Experience with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and platform lifecycle management.
Knowledge of storage, networking, and server infrastructure technologies.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience working within government, defence, or highly regulated environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work effectively in collaborative technical teams.
Work on large-scale government infrastructure environments.
Support mission-critical technology platforms.
