Vivid Resourcing - Scrum Master - ICTJOB BV
scrum master
We're looking for a Scrum Master focused on designing and building scalable technical solutions. This mid level role requires 3+ years of relevant experience.
About the role
What the role involves
- Facilitating the core Scrum ceremonies - sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives - across two geographically distributed teams, keeping collaboration strong despite the distance
- Rethinking familiar rituals for a new context: when AI agents are completing work continuously rather than in daily human blocks, what does a "daily stand-up" even MEAN? The successful candidate will help the team find out
- Guiding the team through new questions around estimation, velocity, and "done" - questions that don't have settled answers yet, given how differently AI-driven work behaves compared to traditional development
- Supporting developers through a real shift in their day-to-day role: from writing every line of code themselves to defining intent clearly, reviewing and validating what agents produce, and overseeing agentic workflows responsibly
- Building a culture where experimentation is normal and continuous improvement isn't just a retrospective exercise - because the tools and best practices in this space are moving quickly, and the team's process needs to move with them
- Clearing a path for the team by removing blockers, including ones unique to this environment: agent permissions and access, infrastructure limitations, or specification quality issues that trip up automated work
- Working closely with Product Ownership to make sure backlog items are written with enough clarity and testability that both human developers and AI agents can act on them without ambiguity
- Tracking delivery in a way that actually reflects reality - recognising that familiar metrics like story points or lines of code may not tell the full story anymore, and helping the team find better ones
- Building genuine trust and shared practice between the two country-based teams, so that both are working from the same playbook and learning from each other as agentic workflows evolve
- Solid, proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach within a software development environment - enterprise or B2B software experience is a strong plus
- Real, practical familiarity with agentic software development: AI systems that can autonomously plan, write, and test code, not just autocomplete-style tooling
- A clear grasp of how AI-assisted and AI-driven development is reshaping developer workflows, code review, testing, and quality practices
- Genuine comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving change, with a track record of adapting process pragmatically rather than defending a textbook framework for its own sake
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills - the human side of this role matters just as much as the technical awareness
- A recognised Scrum Master certification, though the client sees this as a starting point rather than the full picture - this role asks for more than the standard curriculum covers
- Professional fluenc
