QA Engineer
Seeking a Video Player QA Engineer to ensure the quality and performance of video playback for Fandango. Responsibilities include manual and automated testing, bug reporting, and collaboration with development teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing of the video player across various devices and browsers.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality video playback.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on video player performance and stability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance, specifically with video playback technologies.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and execution.
- Experience with bug tracking systems and test management tools.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
