Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a global team of engineers focused on virtualization and SRE.
- Drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce best practices for system reliability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure roadmaps and technical strategies.
- Oversee incident management, root cause analysis, and proactive measures to prevent future outages.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within Virtualization Engineering and SRE.
- Deep understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong expertise in Site Reliability Engineering principles, including monitoring, alerting, and automation.
- Demonstrated ability to architect and manage complex, distributed systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
