Engineering Manager
Strategic leader responsible for building and scaling a high‑performance platform engineering organization, driving cloud‑native microservices, DevOps practices, and innovative product delivery for a global workforce communications platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the platform engineering vision, roadmap, and architecture to support rapid product growth and reliability.
- Lead, mentor, and scale multiple engineering squads, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and high‑impact delivery.
- Drive adoption of cloud‑native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes) and modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability.
- Collaborate with product, data, and security leaders to align engineering initiatives with business goals and compliance requirements.
- Establish engineering standards, governance, and performance metrics to ensure scalability, security, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles building large‑scale platforms.
- Deep expertise in microservices architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD automation.
- Proven track record of scaling high‑performing engineering teams using Agile methodologies.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
