About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the engineering strategy for product, systems, CAD, and simulation teams, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing engineering organization, fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Program Management, Operations, Quality, and Business Development to deliver mission‑critical systems that meet regulatory standards and customer specifications.
- Establish and enforce disciplined engineering processes, documentation, and best practices across all technical functions.
- Drive cross‑functional collaboration to resolve technical challenges, optimize resource allocation, and accelerate time‑to‑market.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership in a defense or high‑tech manufacturing environment.
- Deep expertise in product engineering, systems engineering, CAD, and modeling & simulation.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, regulated systems on schedule and within budget.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with process improvement, quality systems, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, MIL‑STD).
