About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall data infrastructure strategy, aligning architecture with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Design, implement, and optimize cloud‑based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) supporting high‑volume, low‑latency workloads.
- Lead the integration of big‑data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka to enable real‑time analytics and data pipelines.
- Establish data modeling standards, governance, and best practices for relational and NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to ensure data solutions are resilient, secure, and performant.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, infrastructure design, and cloud migration.
- Deep expertise in SQL, ETL processes, and data modeling for large‑scale systems.
- Proven track record with big‑data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and modern data platforms.
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance in financial services.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
