Vice President, Infrastructure Engineer - Bank of America

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise infrastructure roadmap, aligning cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid solutions with business objectives.
• Lead the design, deployment, and operation of scalable AWS environments, including networking, compute, storage, and security services.
• Architect and manage container platforms using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and performance for critical applications.
• Drive infrastructure as code initiatives with Terraform, automating provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Establish and enforce security and compliance standards across all infrastructure layers, collaborating with risk and audit teams.
• Mentor and grow a high‑performing engineering team, fostering best practices in DevOps, monitoring, and incident response.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Deep expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes orchestration, and Terraform automation.
• Strong background in Linux system administration, network architecture, and security best practices.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale, highly available, and secure infrastructure solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
