About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement end‑to‑end full‑stack applications that support mission‑critical financial services.
- Lead a team of senior engineers, providing technical mentorship, code reviews, and fostering best‑practice development standards.
- Drive cloud adoption and modernization initiatives on AWS, including container orchestration with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and security teams to translate business requirements into robust, secure software solutions.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability through automated testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or architect role.
- Deep expertise in Java and JavaScript ecosystems, including modern frameworks such as React and Node.js.
- Proven experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud‑native applications on AWS, leveraging services like EC2, Lambda, RDS, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of micro‑services architecture, RESTful APIs, and event‑driven design patterns.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, communication abilities, and a track record of delivering complex projects in regulated financial environments.
