Software Engineer
Seeking a Vice President of Food Safety & Quality Assurance to oversee all aspects of food safety and quality programs, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement in a growing food manufacturing environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive food safety and quality assurance programs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations and industry standards.
- Lead and mentor the food safety and quality assurance team.
- Conduct internal audits and oversee external audits to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure product integrity from development to market.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA/QC framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within Food Safety and Quality Assurance.
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and other food safety management systems.
- Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes and regulatory landscapes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
