About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for digital‑asset data architecture across AWS cloud services.
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of high‑throughput batch processing pipelines powered by Amazon Bedrock AI models.
- Establish data governance frameworks that meet CCPA and other privacy requirements while supporting rapid analytics.
- Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into data workflows.
- Mentor and grow a multidisciplinary engineering organization, fostering best practices in cloud architecture, data engineering, and machine learning.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud‑based data platform design, with a focus on AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, EMR, Lambda).
- Proven track record delivering large‑scale batch processing solutions that incorporate generative AI or machine‑learning models.
- Deep understanding of data governance, privacy regulations (CCPA, GDPR), and security best practices.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing senior engineers and cross‑functional teams.
- Hands‑on expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and performance tuning in distributed environments.
