Lead a high‑impact compliance engineering team, designing and deploying AI/ML solutions—especially large language models—to detect and mitigate regulatory risks across a global financial platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee end‑to‑end ML pipelines that analyze petabyte‑scale structured and unstructured data for compliance insights.
- Drive the development of large language model applications to detect policy violations, fraud, and reputational threats.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Mentor and grow a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, and compliance experts.
- Ensure model governance, explainability, and auditability in line with industry standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on large language models.
- Proven track record building production‑grade ML systems at scale.
- Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks in finance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
