As Vice President, Commercial Legal Affairs, you will lead the commercial legal affairs function for our global software company. This role will oversee all aspects of commercial legal affairs, including contract negotiation, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our business operations are aligned with our commercial legal strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commercial legal strategies to support business growth and expansion.
- Lead contract negotiation and drafting for commercial agreements, including software licensing agreements and other business contracts.
- Provide guidance on intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark, and copyright law.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including data protection and anti-bribery laws.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement commercial legal policies and procedures.
- Manage a team of lawyers and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
- JD or equivalent degree in law.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial law, with a focus on contract negotiation and intellectual property.
- Proven track record of leading commercial legal affairs functions in a global software company.
- Strong understanding of commercial law, including contract negotiation, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
