Lead the design and implementation of cloud‑native, low‑latency platforms, leveraging AWS, Kubernetes, Java, Python and machine‑learning techniques to deliver scalable, secure solutions for high‑frequency financial applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop cloud‑native, low‑latency services on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance for mission‑critical financial workloads.
- Design, implement, and maintain containerized micro‑services using Kubernetes and related DevOps tooling.
- Collaborate with data scientists and quantitative engineers to integrate machine‑learning models into production pipelines.
- Drive security best practices, proactively identifying and mitigating cyber threats across the stack.
- Mentor senior engineers, set technical direction, and influence roadmap decisions for cloud solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on cloud platforms and low‑latency system design.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python, and hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience applying machine‑learning techniques in production environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.
