About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision for AI‑driven data and knowledge products, aligning architecture with business objectives.
- Lead multiple engineering and data science teams, fostering a culture of high performance, mentorship, and continuous learning.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and AI model serving infrastructure using Python, Apache Spark, and Kubernetes on cloud platforms.
- Partner with product management to translate product requirements into robust, production‑ready solutions.
- Establish best practices for data governance, model monitoring, and operational reliability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, machine learning, or AI platform development, with at least 5 years in senior technical leadership.
- Deep expertise in Python, Apache Spark, and cloud services (AWS or GCP), including container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Proven track record delivering end‑to‑end AI/ML solutions at scale in a production environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and communication skills, able to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Experience building and scaling high‑performing engineering teams.
