Software Engineer
Detail‑oriented Verification Engineer responsible for developing and executing test plans, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance of integrated flight and propulsion systems with aerospace safety standards using Python, MATLAB/Simulink, and C++.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain verification test plans, procedures, and automated test scripts for flight‑control and propulsion subsystems.
- Execute hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) and software‑in‑the‑loop (SIL) simulations using MATLAB/Simulink and C++ models.
- Analyze test data, identify discrepancies, and work with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.
- Ensure compliance with DO‑178C, ARP4754A, and other aerospace certification standards throughout the verification lifecycle.
- Document verification results, generate reports, and support certification reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in verification or validation of flight‑critical systems, preferably in the aerospace or aviation industry.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting, and strong skills in MATLAB/Simulink for model‑based development.
- Hands‑on experience with C++ development and HIL/SIL test environments.
- Familiarity with aerospace standards such as DO‑178C, ARP4754A, and a solid understanding of safety‑critical verification processes.
