Lead on-field vehicle integration for autonomous trucking, troubleshooting hardware/software, and ensuring seamless operation of AI-powered systems using ROS, CAN, and embedded C/C++ with Python scripting.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain autonomous vehicle hardware and software on commercial trucks in the field.
- Diagnose and resolve integration issues across CAN, Ethernet, and sensor interfaces using ROS and custom middleware.
- Collaborate with R&D to implement firmware updates, safety checks, and performance tuning.
- Document field procedures, create troubleshooting guides, and provide training to operations teams.
- Collect and analyze telemetry data to support continuous improvement of autonomous systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in vehicle integration or automotive electronics.
- Proficiency with ROS, CAN bus, and embedded C/C++ development.
- Strong scripting skills in Python for data analysis and automation.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation abilities.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in a fast‑paced environment.
