Job Description

Role: Vehicle Integration Engineer - ADAS
The Vehicle Integration Engineer – ADAS is responsible for ensuring seamless integration of ADAS functions into the vehicle platform. This role involves coordination between hardware, software, and systems teams to ensure sensors, ECUs, and control algorithms work correctly in real-world conditions. You will be responsible for vehicle-level testing, calibration, and validation of ADAS functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the vehicle-level integration of ADAS systems including cameras, radar, ultrasonic sensors, ECUs (steering, brakes etc.) and HMI components.
- Define integration strategy and interfaces between ADAS modules, vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet), and powertrain/vehicle systems.
- Collaborate with system architects, software, and hardware teams to ensure ADAS features meet functional and performance requirements.
- Support vehicle-level testing, calibration, and validation of ADAS features such as AEB, ACC, LKA, Parking Assist, and Traffic Jam Assist.
- Conduct diagnostics, fault analysis, and troubleshooting for system-level issues during integration and road testing.
- Define and implement calibration strategies for sensor fusion, perception, and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and SOTIF (ISO 21448) standards at the vehicle level.
- Support prototype and pre-production vehicle integration, including wiring harness validation, sensor placement and ECU configuration.
- Develop test plans, vehicle-level requirements, and verification reports.
- Coordinate with OEM, Tier-1 suppliers, and internal teams for program milestones and release planning..
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or related field.
- 2-8 years of experience in ADAS vehicle integration or embedded automotive systems.
- Strong knowledge of ADAS sensors (camera, radar, ultrasonic) and ECU systems.
- Experience with vehicle communication networks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
- Familiarity with functional safety (ISO 26262) and SOTIF standards.
- Hands-on experience in vehicle testing, calibration, and validation.
- Knowledge of data logging, diagnostics, and fault analysis tools.
