Vehicle Dynamics Simulation Integration Engineer - General Motors (GM)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain high‑fidelity vehicle dynamics models within MATLAB/Simulink and C++ simulation environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (hardware, control, software) to define model requirements and validation criteria.
• Automate model testing and data analysis pipelines using Python scripts and CI tools.
• Perform sensitivity studies, parameter sweeps, and calibration against real‑world vehicle data.
• Document simulation architecture, assumptions, and results for internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field with strong focus on vehicle dynamics.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and C++ for model development and integration.
• Experience scripting and data processing in Python.
• Understanding of vehicle dynamics concepts (suspension, chassis, powertrain, handling).
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical findings clearly.
