Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Veeva Vault Technical Developer Lead with strong hands-on development, integration, and technical solution design experience within the Veeva Vault platform.
This is a technical development role for someone who has personally designed, developed, integrated, troubleshot, and deployed Veeva Vault solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Veeva Vault Java SDK, Vault REST APIs, VQL, MDL, integrations, and Vault platform architecture and be comfortable serving as the technical lead across complex implementations.
The Technical Developer Lead will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, integration teams, and other delivery partners to translate business and technical requirements into scalable Veeva Vault solutions.
Experience working within pharmaceutical or life sciences environments and an understanding of regulated/GxP systems is strongly preferred.
Duties
- Develop, customize, and configure Veeva Vault applications using best practices for system design and development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions aligned with business needs.
- Integrate Veeva Vault with other enterprise systems through RESTful APIs, web services, and middleware tools such as WCF or custom SDKs.
- Design and implement backend systems utilizing technologies like C#,.NET, Java, Python, and SQL databases including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Build intuitive front-end interfaces using React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and UI frameworks to enhance user experience.
- Ensure system scalability and performance by applying distributed computing principles and microservices architecture within cloud infrastructure environments like AWS or Azure.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and version control using tools such as GitHub, TFS (Team Foundation Server), SVN (Subversion), or TFS for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Design system workflows using UML diagrams and adhere to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies within Agile software development frameworks.
- Develop comprehensive documentation including system design specifications, API documentation, UML diagrams, and user manuals.
- Maintain high standards of security compliance by implementing best practices for web services (SOAP/REST), application security protocols, and data protection measures.
Experience
- Proven experience in developing enterprise applications with a focus on Veeva Vault platform or similar cloud-based content management systems.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript (including React.js), Python, Java, and TypeScript.
