Job Description
We are seeking a talented UX/UI Developer to join our onshore MCCR Engineering team. Responsible for designing user experiences, creating intuitive interfaces, and developing responsive applications using React. This role requires a unique blend of design thinking and front-end development expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design user-centered interfaces and experiences for web applications
- Develop responsive, interactive UI components using React and modern web technologies
- Strong fundamentals in state management and performance optimization
- Component design systems: Building reusable and scalable UI libraries.
- Storybook: Isolated component development and documentation.
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and backend teams to translate requirements into functional designs
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or other modern UI/UX design and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of user-centered design (UCD), design systems, wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design best practices
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
- Implement accessibility best practices including WCAG compliance
- Optimize UI performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
- Maintain design systems and component libraries
- Document design specifications and development standards
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in UX/UI design and front-end development
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Redux, Tanstack, Component Design, state management and performance optimization.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX design and UI development work
- Experience with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, or similar)
- Solid understanding of UX principles, user research, and design thinking
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 79,000 to 102,000.
