UX Researcher, Mixed Methods Responsibilities:
- Identify the most important research questions across Integrity & Support's complex, fast-moving domain
- Design and execute global mixed-methods studies (quantitative + qualitative), interpreted through UX, HCI, and social science lenses
- Define research strategy for emerging harm vectors (scams, impersonation, business abuse) and evaluate product interventions
- Partner with DS, Product, Engineering, Design, Communications and Policy to identify opportunities to build the safest, most secure, and most supported experiences for users
- Develop measurement frameworks that assess user safety outcomes at platform scale
- Build cross-Meta relationships within Community Integrity & Support and Family of Apps Integrity teams
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience using AI daily in research workflows, delegating to AI agents, and producing deliverables efficiently
- Experience scaling insights through automation and system design, operationalizing findings to drive decision-making at scale
- Experience crafting narratives that drive decision-making across teams and shape product strategy
- Track record of influencing product strategy in complex, ambiguous, and fast-changing domains
- Experience designing and executing quantitative studies with strong Data Science partnership
- Experience leading international and cross-cultural research
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with integrity research in developing countries
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Experience in regulated or trust & safety domains
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Background in UX, HCI, or social science research methodologies
